What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some are needed for a website to work at all, for example to keep you logged in or to protect a form. Others are used to measure advertising. This page lists every cookie this website uses, what it does and how long it stays.
Your choice
When you first visit, we ask you before anything optional is loaded. Statistics and marketing are pre-selected in the dialog so that you only have to click if you agree, and you can untick either one. Nothing is loaded and no marketing cookie is set until you click "Accept all", "Decline" or "Save choice".
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Privacy Settings link, which is also in the footer of every page. Withdrawing does not affect what happened before you withdrew.
We do not use a third party consent tool. Your choice is stored in our own cookie on this domain and is not shared with anyone.
Cookies we set ourselves
These are strictly necessary. Without them the site cannot keep a session, cannot protect its forms and cannot remember your cookie choice. They are set on this domain only and are never used for advertising.

Statistics
We currently set no statistics cookies at all. We do look at how the site is used, but we do that from our web server's own access logs, which exist anyway for security and troubleshooting. That needs no cookie and does not follow you across websites. Where we keep those logs longer, the IP address is shortened first so that it no longer identifies a device. The category exists in the dialog so that we can ask you properly if we ever add a statistics tool.
Marketing: Meta pixel
Only if you agree to marketing, we load the Meta pixel. We use it to measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram reaches people who are interested in our tournaments, and to show our events to similar audiences.

We also send these events from our server. Ad blockers and browser settings stop the pixel for many visitors, so the same event is reported a second time by our server through Meta's Conversions API. Both carry the same event identifier, so Meta counts the visit once. This happens only if you agreed to marketing, and it is switched off by the same withdrawal. What is sent: the page address, your IP address, your browser identification and the values of the two cookies above. We never send your email address or your telephone number to Meta.

What we do not use
No Google Analytics, no advertising networks other than Meta, no embedded YouTube or Google Maps, and no fonts loaded from someone else's server. Our fonts are hosted by us, so calling up a page does not tell any third party that you were here.
Managing cookies in your browser
Besides the Privacy Settings link, every browser lets you view, block and delete
cookies. Blocking necessary cookies will stop parts of this site from working, for
example signing in to a player account. Deleting dps_consent means we
will ask you again on your next visit.
