This notice explains how we process personal data when you visit diamondpokerseries.com and when you use our online offerings (e.g., contact forms).

We process personal data under the GDPR, in particular Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), Art. 6(1)(b) (contract / pre-contractual steps), Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation), and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).

4) Hosting, Log Files & Security

Hosting: Abaton (Austria/EU).

Data processed on access: IP address, date/time incl. time zone, requested URL, HTTP status, transferred data volume, referrer URL, user agent.

Purposes: Delivering the website, stability, IT security (e.g., abuse detection), troubleshooting.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention: Server logs are typically deleted after 7–30 days; longer retention only where required for incident investigation or evidence.

CDN / WAF: not used.

5) Cookies & Consent Management

We use strictly necessary cookies to provide our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; no consent required under ePrivacy rules). All non-essential technologies (e.g., marketing or external media) are activated only after your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Consent tool: none from a third party. The banner is part of this website. Your choice is stored in our own cookie dps_consent on this domain, which also serves as the record of your consent. It is not shared with anyone. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Privacy Settings link in the footer.

• Statistics: Currently unused. No statistics cookie is set.

6) Contact (Email / Forms)

Data: Name, email address, optional phone number, message content and technical metadata.

Purpose: Handling your inquiry and communication.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Retention: Deleted after completion unless statutory retention applies.

7) Newsletter

We offer a newsletter using a double opt-in procedure. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

Data: Email address, optional name, timestamps, consent status.

Purpose: Information about Diamond Poker Series events and offers.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

Sending via: Our own mail infrastructure (hosted by Abaton).

Retention: Until withdrawal of consent; proof may be retained for up to 3 years.

8) Web Analytics

No web analytics tool and no analytics cookie are used. We evaluate our own web server access logs, which are created anyway for security and troubleshooting (see section 4). This does not identify you across other websites. Where those logs are kept longer, the IP address is shortened beforehand so that it no longer identifies a device.

9) Marketing & Tracking

9.1 Meta Pixel (Facebook / Instagram)

Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland); Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA).

Data: Usage data, device data, cookie identifiers; may be linked to your Meta account.

Purpose: Conversion tracking and interest-based advertising.

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

International transfers: Possible transfers to third countries, protected by SCCs and/or EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Withdrawal: At any time via the consent banner.

9.2 Meta Conversions API (server side)

Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland); Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA).

What it is: The same events as the pixel, reported a second time by our server, because ad blockers and browser settings stop the pixel for many visitors. Both carry the same event identifier, so the event is counted once.

Data: Page address, IP address, browser identification, and the values of the Meta cookies _fbp and _fbc. We do not transmit your email address or telephone number.

Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Our server checks your stored choice before sending and transmits nothing if you declined or withdrew.

9.3 Social Media Pages

We operate public social media profiles. Interaction is subject to the platforms' privacy policies. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or consent.

10) Embedded Content

None. This website embeds no videos, no maps and no other content served by a third party, so opening a page tells no one else that you were here.

11) Fonts & External Resources

Fonts: Hosted locally.

Other external resources: None.

12) Recipients & Processors

Processors: Hosting and IT service providers under Art. 28 GDPR.
Other recipients: Only where legally required or necessary.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA occur only with appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs or adequacy decisions).

13) Retention

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or legal obligations.

14) Obligation to Provide Data

Providing data is generally voluntary. Some functions require data to work properly.

15) Minors

Our services are not directed at persons under 18 years of age.

16) Automated Decision-Making

No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

17) Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection under Articles 15–21 GDPR.

Christian Stratmeyer Immobilien GmbH reserves the right to modify event details, schedules, and Guaranteed Prize Pools (GTD) at any time. Such adjustments may become necessary due to unforeseen external circumstances, logistical challenges, or to ensure the operational stability and fairness of the event.
